Outer Reef Microsoft Tag and QR Codes Now Available

People live with their phones, using them during dinner and even before they get out of bed. We now have Microsoft Tags and QR Codes to help us capture them in the moment, engaging them anytime, anywhere through mobile marketing. You can bring printed materials to life, help customers make buying decisions while standing in the store, and engage them more deeply with our brand. It's easy – just place Tags and Codes on your packaging, print ads, or marketing materials. When folks scan a Tag or a QR Code on their smartphones using the free Tag app and QR Codes app, it can take them to your mobile site, add contact details to their address book. You don't have to worry about people correctly typing in your URL or finding you online – They instantly put the relevant info at their fingertips. Companies across the spectrum are discovering that each of these resources can help them reach a mobile audience, engage and retain customers, and build their brands. Kadey Krogen and Outer Reef

have formed a formidable team.

When Larry Polster first laid eyes on a

Kadey Krogen motor yacht over 20 years

ago, he knew he wanted to own one. He

could not have known he would one day

own a whole company. Today, Polster

is one of the three former owners with a stake

in the American pocket cruiser brand, which

made its Australian debut at SCIBS.

" I first saw the brand in 1989 at the

Annapolis boat show and thought, 'I want

one of those one day'. Eventually I bought

one second hand," Polster told Ocean.

Having had control of the company for

five years now, Polster has struck up a

deal with Outer Reef Yachts which will see

the brand go global through Outer Reef's

dealer network, including in Australia.

"Kadey Krogen have the same values

of quality and customer service that we

have, so there was a natural alignment

there," said Outer Reef CEO Jeff Druek.

Kadey Krogen concentrates on the sub-

60-foot segment while Outer Reef chases

business in the bigger sizes.

"We have people coming in the door

looking for something under the 60-foot

range and we had nothing to offer them,"

said Druek."Now we do".

Outer Reef appoints new warranty and service centre

Tidewater Yacht Service is based in Baltimore, Maryland

US boatbuilder Outer Reef Yachts has made Tidewater Yacht Service an official warranty and service centre for its fleet of Outer Reef owners.

Located on the Patapsco River waterway in Baltimore, Maryland, Tidewater’s services and facilities include two travelifts of 35 and 75 tonnes, heated indoor repair shops, a parts department, and a deep water marina with floating concrete docks.

The company also serves as a certified dealer and repair facility for Northern Light power systems, with ABYC service technicians and three master marine technicians on staff.

Outer Reef, which is based in Ft Lauderdale, Florida, builds custom motoryachts from 18m-35m (60ft-115ft), also in pilothouse and tri-deck configurations. The company has offices throughout the US, Europe and Australia.

Outer Reef 70' "Hybrid" now in Ft. Lauderdale

The first of the new Outer Reef 70 ”Hybrid” (convertible interior) arrived today in Ft. Lauderdale. The offload went off with the assistance of our ace commissioning and delivery team. The boat will be commissioned in the next 2-3 weeks and once commissioned, she will be off cruising with her new owners and will not be back in Lauderdale until early October.
